Workforce Development

ASME is proud to celebrate the professional achievements and aspirations of its more than 120,000 members from 150 countries.

Our ASME Fellows serve at the White House, a Federal Agency or in the US Congress for one-year terms, providing them with the opportunity to offer non-partisan technical advice to elected officials who often have limited engineering and scientific backgrounds.

ASME Honors & Awards

In their effort to "Promote the art, science and practice of mechanical and multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences to diverse communities throughout the world,"  ASME annually confers awards to over 65 individuals, recognizing meritorious contributions to engineering.
