ASME advances equity in the engineering profession by partnering with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through scholarships, extracurriculars, advanced training, and access to employers, we're opening doors of opportunity to those who are underrepresented in the engineering community and helping educators better prepare students to meet the growing demand for diverse technical professionals.

Connect students to internships, apprenticeships, and jobs with best-in-class organizations and companies

Establish ASME student chapters with access to ASME events, competitions that provide hands-on learning, and opportunities to volunteer

Enable participation in ASME’s member network on regional, national and global levels
